Quilt design and creation
I often try to produce an original quilt design. I may vary a popular pattern, or I may start with a completely new idea. The aim is to be creative. If I succeed, I will wind up with a unique quilt.
With a specific quilt design in mind, I choose the most suitable quilt fabric, and colors that harmonize. I need only think about my flower garden and how colors blend together naturally. Such harmony provides inspiration for a flower garden quilt, or even a
crazy quilt housecoat
.
For over 40 years I have been devoted to quilt creation. Along with wanting a unique quilt, I also desire beauty and durability in the quilts I design. I have many quilts for sale and I offer quilting tips for beginning quilters. I hope you enjoy your visits to my quilting pages.
